CO₂ is considered medium-demand for this plant—although not strictly required, it enhances colour intensity, growth speed, and leaf size.
This plant grows to a height of 15–20+ cm, making it ideal for midground placement in medium to large aquariums. Moderate lighting is preferred, which helps sustain red tones without causing excessive vertical stretching. Adequate space around the rosette ensures proper light penetration to all leaves. A gentle to moderate flow keeps leaves clean and prevents debris accumulation.
