Seachem Axolotl Conditioner 250ml is specifically formulated to make tap water safe for axolotls and other amphibians by removing harmful chlorine, chloramine, and ammonia while detoxifying heavy metals, ensuring a safe and healthy aquatic environment.
• Removes chlorine, chloramine, and detoxifies ammonia.
• Detoxifies heavy metals in tap water.
• Safe for axolotls and amphibians, supporting stress reduction.
• Suitable for routine water changes and tank setups.
• 250ml bottle for easy, regular conditioning.
Use at start-up and whenever adding or replacing water.
Use 1 capful (5ml) for each 160 liters (40 US gallons) of new water.
For smaller volumes, note that each cap thread is approximately 1ml.
May be added directly to the aquarium, but it is better to add to new water first.
If adding directly to the aquarium, base the dose on the aquarium volume.
A sulfur odor is normal.
For high chloramine concentrations, a double dose may be used safely.
To detoxify nitrite in an emergency, up to 5 times the normal dose may be used.
