Effective treatment against slime disease, velvet, and skin/gill parasites. Designed for quick action while being easy to use.
When to Use
Certain external parasites—such as Trichodina, Costia, Oodinium, and gill/skin flukes—can infect fish, causing them to produce a whitish mucus coating known as slime disease or velvet.
Use this treatment if your fish show signs of:
A whitish or greyish film covering the body
Damaged or frayed fins
Rubbing against objects or signs of irritation
Gasping at the surface, indicating gill distress
Early treatment helps relieve discomfort and prevents further parasite spread.

Important:
This product contains copper, which is highly effective against parasites but can be toxic to invertebrates.
Do not use in tanks containing snails, shrimp, or other invertebrates.
Use a half dose in the presence of copper-sensitive fish species (e.g., loaches or some catfish).
Reliable & Potent
Anti-Parasite Slime & Velvet is a trusted solution for treating parasite infections that affect skin, fins, and gills. Always monitor fish behaviour during treatment, and avoid combining with other copper-based medications unless advised.
FAQs
Can I use this in a planted aquarium?
This treatment is safe for most live plants, but always test a small dose first if unsure. Do not use in aquariums containing invertebrates.
How long should I wait before re-dosing?
Allow several days between treatments. Observe fish and water clarity before repeating. Do not overdose.
What if I accidentally overdose?
Perform a partial water change immediately (25–50%) and increase aeration. Use activated carbon in the filter to remove any remaining medication.
Will this affect biological filtration?
Not significantly when used as instructed. Remove carbon during dosing, and reintroduce it after treatment is complete to clear any residues.
