Anti-Internal Worms Treatment

Effective internal parasite treatment for ornamental fish, including Discus and other sensitive species.

When to Use

Some fish—especially species like Discus—are particularly prone to internal worm infestations. These parasites can silently affect fish health, often without any external signs until the infection is advanced.

Use this treatment when fish show the following symptoms:

  • Still feeding but becoming noticeably thin

  • Lethargy and reduced activity

  • Clamped fins and dull coloration

  • Gasping at the surface or signs of rubbing/flashing on surfaces

Treating internal parasites early helps prevent long-term damage and secondary infections.

How to Use

  1. Maximise aeration in the aquarium by increasing filter output or adding air stones.

  2. Shake the bottle vigorously for at least 30 seconds before each use.

  3. Use the included pipette to measure and add the correct dose to the aquarium.

  4. If water becomes cloudy, perform a 50% water change and repeat as needed until clear.

  5. The treatment can be repeated weekly, up to 4 total doses for stubborn infestations.

Important: This treatment is not invertebrate-safe. Do not use if your aquarium contains shrimp, snails, or other invertebrates.

Safe for Use With Sensitive Fish

Anti-Internal Worms is specially formulated to be safe for sensitive fish species, including Discus, when used as directed. Always monitor water parameters during treatment.

FAQs

How do I know if my fish have internal worms?
The most common sign is weight loss despite continued eating. Fish may also appear lethargic or rub against surfaces.

Is the water cloudiness harmful?
No, but if the tank becomes cloudy, it’s best to change 50% of the water and monitor water quality.

How often can I repeat the treatment?
You can treat once per week, for a maximum of 4 treatments in a row.

Can I use this in a planted tank?
Yes, but not in tanks with shrimp, snails, or ornamental invertebrates, as the product is harmful to them.
