DESCRIPTION

Dendrobium 'Stardust x hercoglossum'

An easy-growing Dendrobium, this lovely hybrid is a cross between a vibrant bright orange variety and the delicate Dendrobium hercoglossum species. It produces charming flowers from spring through summer. Plants reach a height of 10–15 cm at maturity.
A cool to intermediate grower, it thrives either potted or mounted on trees, making it a versatile addition to any collection. Flowering plants are supplied in 9 cm pots.


Growing Guide

  • Location: Best grown outdoors.

  • Light: Requires 60% shade or morning sun with afternoon protection.

  • Temperature: Tolerates 3°C to 28°C, with a preferred 10°C difference between day and night.

  • Medium: Plant in a well-draining bark and peat-based mix, or mount on wood for a natural look.

  • Fertilizer: Feed weekly during the summer growing season.
