Mini Lava Rock is an inert substrate and filter media, found in nature and perfect for Sulawesi Shrimp tanks. Its large surface area encourages grazing and nurtures growth of essential algae. Additionally, the mineral can be utilized in an undergravel filter for extra filtration.
