DESCRIPTION
This variety of Drosera capensis, known as "alba", is a pale, albino version of the Cape Sundew. Due to lack of red pigment (anthocyanin), its tentacles do not have the characteristic red color, and its flowers are white. For a striking contrast, this plant can be grown alongside the red Cape Sundew or a red Sarracenia. With its effective trapping of gnats, fruit flies, and even the occasional house fly, the Cape Sundew is a valuable addition to any collection.
