Anubias barteri ‘Round Leaf’ (Coin Leaf )
This beautiful Anubias cultivar is known for its distinctive rounded leaves, giving it the trade names Coin Leaf or Round Leaf. Similar in size to Anubias barteri var. nana, it is a robust, undemanding, and very easy plant suitable for beginners and experts alike.
When grown emersed, the plant can reach around 10 cm in height, with leaf blades up to 5 cm long. Submerged growth is generally more compact, making it ideal for aquascaping.
The Round Leaf Anubias is highly versatile and works perfectly as an epiphyte on driftwood or rocks, but it can also be planted in the substrate—just ensure the rhizome remains above the soil. Its hardiness makes it a cichlid-proof plant and an excellent choice for midground or foreground placement in aquariums.
