Known for its dense, bushy growth, this plant displays a stunning range of colors, with leaves transitioning from green to a beautiful reddish-pink under the right conditions.

The leaves of Rotala mexicana ‘Goias’ are small, narrow, and elongated, arranged in opposite pairs along the stem. Depending on lighting and nutrient conditions, the leaves can shift in color from green to shades of reddish-pink, creating an eye-catching effect in any aquarium.

The plant's stems are thin and grow vertically, forming a compact, bushy shape that is ideal for midground placement in aquariums. It thrives under moderate to high lighting, with intense light helping to bring out its vibrant colors, particularly the pinkish hues.

Rotala mexicana ‘Goias’ prefers water temperatures between 20-28°C, making it suitable for most tropical aquariums. It does well in soft to moderately hard water, with an ideal pH range of 6.0 to 7.5.

To keep Rotala mexicana ‘Goias’ healthy and vibrant, provide a nutrient-rich environment.
