Sunkist Shrimp are a vibrant orange Neocaridina variant, named for their juicy citrus-like hue. Their bold coloration and active behavior make them a lively highlight in planted aquariums. Our Sunkist Shrimp are imported from Skyfish Aqua, Taiwan, one of the world’s most respected shrimp breeders, ensuring exceptional color, health, and genetic stability.

For optimal health and color vibrancy, maintain the following:
Temperature: 20–26°C (68–79°F)
pH: 6.5–7.5
GH: 6–8
KH: 2–4
TDS: 180–250 ppm
Tank Size: Minimum 10L
Provide driftwood, moss, and leaf litter to support natural grazing and hiding.
Sunkist Shrimp are undemanding omnivores with a healthy appetite:
Quality shrimp pellets or granules
Blanched vegetables (carrot, spinach, cucumber)
Naturally grown algae and biofilm
Occasional treats like daphnia or crushed bloodworms
Feed lightly and consistently – remove uneaten food to maintain water quality.
Like all Neocaridina, Sunkist Shrimp breed easily in a stable tank:
Females carry bright green or yellow eggs under their tail
Hatch after about 3–4 weeks into fully formed baby shrimp
Fine-leaved plants or moss provide cover and food for shrimplets
Best bred in species-only tanks to maintain vivid orange color
