Fast-acting, reliable treatment for common fish diseases, including white spot, velvet and fungal infections.
When to Use
White spot is a common protozoan parasite that appears as tiny white grains on the body, fins, and gills of fish. These adult parasites have a complex life cycle, releasing hundreds of free-swimming juveniles looking for new hosts. Infection often spreads quickly in a closed aquarium system.
Use Anti-White Spot & Fungus when you observe any of the following symptoms:
Small white spots (like grains of salt) on the fish's body or fins
Fish rubbing or flashing against objects in the tank
A grey, velvety film covering the body
Cotton wool-like growths around the mouth, fins, or body
Early intervention is crucial to stop the parasite lifecycle and prevent secondary infections.
How to Use
Calculate the volume of your aquarium in litres:
(Length x Width x Depth in cm) ÷ 1000
Or, use our convenient Dosage Calculator.
Shake the bottle well before use.
Mix the required dose with 1 litre of aquarium water.
Add the solution slowly into the aquarium, distributing it evenly.
Note: This product will turn the water green and may stain skin, clothing or surfaces. The colour will naturally fade a few days after the final dose. Avoid water changes between doses unless absolutely necessary.
Treatment Schedule
This is a 7-day treatment course, with four doses added every other day:
Day 1: Add first dose
Day 3: Add second dose
Day 5: Add third dose
Day 7: Add fourth dose
After the final dose, leave the product in the water for 7 additional days before performing a partial water change. The treatment can be repeated if required.
Safe for All Aquarium Life
Formulated with sensitive species in mind, this treatment is safe for use with:
Clown loaches and other scaleless fish
Shrimp, snails, and live plants
If you’re treating particularly delicate species, you can split the daily dose in half and administer in two stages.
FAQs
Is this a single-dose treatment?
No. It requires four doses across seven days for full effectiveness.
Can I test water quality during treatment?
Yes – as long as the colour has faded, your test results will remain accurate.
Can I repeat the treatment?
Yes. After completing the 7-day course and leaving the product in the tank for another 7 days, a water change can be done, and the treatment repeated if needed.
Will it affect snails or shrimp?
No – it is non-toxic to invertebrates and fish when used as directed.
Can I use it with clown loaches?
Yes. Full strength dosing is safe, but you can split the dose if you feel extra caution is needed.
