Temperature Requirements:
Thrives within a range of 3°C to 28°C.
Needs a 10°C difference between day and night temperatures to promote healthy growth and flowering.
Growing Medium:
Can be potted in a well-draining medium based on bark and peat.
Alternatively, can be mounted on wood, using a substrate like coconut fiber or sphagnum moss to retain some moisture.
Watering and Fertilizing:
Water regularly during active growth, allowing the medium to dry slightly between waterings.
Fertilize weekly during summer with a balanced orchid fertilizer diluted to half strength.
Additional Notes:
In cooler months, reduce watering and fertilization slightly to reflect the natural rest period.
Excellent air movement is recommended to prevent fungal issues, especially if mounted.
