The aquavitro® surgical grade stainless steel intake pipe offers an incredibly durable and sleek alternative to standard filter intakes for various types of aquarium filters or pumps. It is resistant to rust and corrosion in freshwater (not for use in saltwater aquariums).
Its holes are perfectly sized to allow for significant smooth water flow while safely blocking fish and other aquarium inhabitants from being pulled into the filter. The dark interior of the pipe prevents algae from clogging the flow to the filter or pump.
The submerged portion can be easily detached for cleaning as necessary. It is available in two sizes: 13 mm for 12/16 mm tubing and 17mm for 16/22mm tubing.
For use with dwarf shrimp, fry, or very small fish. Use the aquavitro® return pipe and intake pipe together to complete an excellent quality set for intake and return on any freshwater aquarium filtration system.
