The Corydoras sp. Gold Laser is a peaceful species of catfish which is well-suited to cohabitation with many nano aquarium inhabitants, including dwarf cichlids and angelfish. Although it may pose a threat to some smaller types of dwarf shrimp, it can be kept safely with larger varieties in most peaceful invertebrate tanks.
This species is a classic bottom feeder that will find its meals at the aquarium floor. Opt for sand or fine gravel, as a coarser substrate can injure its barbels and ventral area. Dietary-wise, it is accepting of both dry and frozen food items. Additionally, it is quite versatile, being able to thrive in a variety of tropical freshwater conditions, so long as regular upkeep is done, and sudden changes are avoided.
