Montmorillonite clay and Bentonite clay are mineral-rich, so they benefit all living organisms in an aquarium from bacteria to plants to microfauna.
Aquarists will specifically notice fewer shrimp deaths from molting issues. You will also notice a difference in the plants you have, as they take up the influx of minerals you will see very noticeable new green growth.
Another added benefit is that the clay is an absorbent so you will see a difference in the clarity of the water in your aquarium.
Do not mix the clay directly into the water column only add it to your freshwater before you do a water change.
Dosage: One measuring spoon for every 60l of aquarium water once a week.
