DESCRIPTION

Bucephalandra ‘Green Wavy’ TC

Bucephalandra ‘Green Wavy’ is a charming and versatile Buce variety, loved for its vibrant green coloration and distinctive wavy leaf edges that add texture and movement to any aquascape. This compact plant thrives in a wide range of conditions and remains one of the most beginner-friendly Bucephalandra options. Grown in sterile in-vitro conditions, it arrives exceptionally clean, healthy, and free from algae, snails, and contaminants—perfect for a safe start in your aquarium.

Key Features:

Elegant Wavy Leaves: Its rippled, bright-green leaves create a soft, natural look and are ideal for adding fine detail to your scape.

Compact, Slow Growth: A manageable slow grower that stays small, making it perfect for nano tanks, foreground accents, or detailed hardscape work.

In-Vitro Cultivation: Produced under sterile, nutrient-rich conditions to ensure a pest-free, algae-free plant ready for immediate use.

Highly Versatile: Can be attached to driftwood, rocks, or placed in shaded spots where it develops deeper tones and thrives long-term.

Care Requirements:

Lighting: Prefers low to moderate light. Higher light can be used but may increase algae risk on the leaves.

CO₂: Not required but does enhance color intensity and growth stability in more advanced setups.

Water Parameters: Adapts easily to a wide range. Ideal pH is 6.0–7.5 with temperatures between 22–28 °C.

Trimming: Minimal maintenance is needed. Propagation is simple by dividing the rhizome once the plant has established.

Planting Tips:

  • Rinse away all nutrient gel before placing the plant in your aquarium.

  • Do not bury the rhizome—attach it to hardscape using glue, thread, or fishing line until it roots naturally.

  • Position in partially shaded areas for best color and to limit algae buildup.
