DESCRIPTION

Anubias ‘King Kong’

Anubias ‘King Kong’ is a rare and striking newcomer in the world of aquascaping, valued for its majestic presence and unique appearance within the Anubias family. Originating from Africa, this plant has quickly become a prized choice among collectors and aquascapers seeking something special for their layouts.

This cultivar stands out with its broad, dark green leaves and robust growth habit, giving it a bold, commanding look compared to smaller Anubias varieties. Like its relatives, it is hardy, slow-growing, and undemanding, making it an excellent choice for both beginners and advanced hobbyists.

Best suited as an epiphyte attached to rocks or driftwood, it can also be placed in the substrate provided the rhizome remains above the ground. Its strong build makes it ideal for aquariums with larger or more active fish, as it withstands nibbling and disturbances.

A rare and impressive centerpiece plant, Anubias ‘King Kong’ adds bold texture and elegance to any aquascape.
