Hygrophila Odora was introduced into the hobby as Hygrophila sp. Guinea. Hygrophila Odora is a slow-growing stem plant that can get large but is easily managed.
Hygrophila Odora has very light green leaves and a thick strong stem. Odora can be used in the mid-ground of large tanks or as a background plant.
Hygrophila Odora is rarely seen in the hobby, maybe the size deters many from using it but it grows slowly, enough that size is not an issue.
