Named for the vibrant orange trim along the outer edges of its dorsal and caudal fins. In the wild, they are found in warm, acidic, fast-moving waters and will do best in similar conditions in the aquarium.

Lifespan: 5-8 Years
Habitat: Plenty of hiding spots in the form of caves or driftwood is needed. The males are territorial over their chosen cave or hiding spot and come out every now and then for food or to attract close-by females.
Diet: Omnivorous, the L106 would gladly accept most sinking bottom-dweller pellets such as algae wafers and spirulina wafers. They also live on insect larvae and bloodworms when in the wild.
Temperament: The L106 pleco is a very peaceful fish and would work great with other fish with the same water parameters.
