Art of Aqua – Snowflake

Snowflakes are made from soy bran. Soy bran is a high fiber food source that is easily digestible. Soy bran also contains trace minerals, protein and amino acids. Snowflake is often used as a weekend food. When the pellet is dropped into the tank the pellet will break apart. Shrimps will start eating the pellet and leave some of the bigger flakes. These bigger flakes will start to break down and Mycelium fungus will start to grow on these flakes. Mycelium fungus is a very good food source for shrimp.
